At the end of August it takes place in suround of town Králíky in the Czech Republic. Commemorative events associated with the exhibition of fighting of World War II.
This year is devoted to events in the autumn of the 1938th. That means Hitler caused the rebellion of the Sudeten Germans against Czechoslovakia. Mobilization of the Czechoslovak Army and the Munich betrayal. When our allies France and Great Britain left us it means Czechoslovakia behind. The way to the Second World War was opened.


Here are some photos from Cihelna 2010 . This is an infantry blockhouse K-S 14 U Cihelny ( Cihelna= Brickyard) The event is named after this object. This one is part of the Králíky Forticated Area.





German inhabitants of Czechoslovakia, listen speech of Hitler's ambassador. He promises them if they help destroy the Czechoslovakia, they will be better.






Czechoslovak border guards checked the German farmers that do not fit the weapons.




Border guard are then murdered. Rebeliens occupy the borderland.











Hitler convened in Munich meeting by the four superpowers. France, Great Britain, Germany and Italy, force Cechoslovakia to give up the border areas.
The German army is coming.

Here are some photos from Cihelna 2011, thi event was dedicated to Ostrava operation, it means battle for Ostrava. The Ostrava city was an Iron Heart of the Czechoslovakia.

Here are the first pictures from this year's event Brickyard. Mala Walk around Czechoslovak anti-tank gun model 1934th It is a very accurate replica, the individual parts were made ​​using CNC machining.
The price is estimated at 100 000 czech crowns.









































Once resin cast models of this gun were produced in scales 1/35, 1/72 and probably in 1/48. were produced by now defunct company Profikit.

Yes Jamie there are some good museums in Prague. Here is link http://www.vhu.cz/en/. When do you want to go to Prague? In the day of 1.9. 2012 near Prague in Army Technical Museum in Lesany take place The Tank Day. There you can see interesting vehicles in motion. For example Praga Lt.vz 38, T 34 , Merkava and many others.

Here are the first photos from this year's event. Field camp of prewar Czechoslovak army. The entrance to the camp is guarding by two prewar policemen.

An important part of each camp is a field kitchen.Here is the original Austro-Hungarian field kitchen model 1909 used by Czechoslovak army.















The armored car Tatra OA vz. 30 in the camp. This vehicle comes from the Museum of the Dmarcation Line in Rokycany.
