Here is the chassis assembly. I've went ahead an ordered Eduard's PE set for the italari and Zvezda kit, it adds only a little detail but the kits engine grate on the back is terrible so I thought a PE upgrade would be better.

It looks like an old model from Zvezda. I thought, they cleared the form. But metal barrel is necessary too.

A nice subject. IIRC the old Zvezda kit is a bit over scale but nothing to worry about too much. The tracks may need changing out as well as a screen for the radiator exhaust. I think Eduard did an old P.E. set for this kit that might be worth looking into.

Yes, it does look rather primitive but I am excited about the build. I did order the PE set by Eduard for both the Itilari and Zvezda kit. I also found a barrel on Ebay and should have that soon as well. During assembly the front suspension had quite a gap in it so after gluing them on, I filled with squadron putty mixed with liquid cement and sanded down.

Here are some more updates. It's been a struggle with parts fitting but on the bright side my PE work is going pretty well.


Here I will remove the 4 plastic exhaust and replace with PE.
