So since I didn't show too much of the process on the right hand side (as to the driver) so I'll try and and illuminate the process a little more with the left side

Great job on the P.E. James. However something doesn't look right with the front fenders to me. The 1940 had short front fenders with a rubber extension. I am going to have to look through my material when I get home this evening and look into it. Maybe some had longer all metal ones. Still great job on this kit.

some shots from today, and yes you were right about the front fenders, I misinterpreted the Aber instructions. An easy fix in any case and I was able to add a little character onto the right hand side by cutting back some of the metal and adding a bit that the extension would bolt to.
