model show in Edmonton Alberta

Was visiting my Dad in Edmonton Alta. this week and it happened that there was a model show happening so I dropped in to say hi to a few people, like Tome Cockle, Gary Edmonsdon, and Ron Volstad. There were a couple other big wigs like Spencer Pollard of Military in Scale and Brett Green of Hyperscale.
Nice to see the guys and meet the others, a bit thin on the number of models on display.

The lighting over the contest tables doesn't look like it was all that good. Harder on the judges. Still a place where like minded folks come to gether and talk models is a good place to be no matter how many models are on the table. There is a contest here this weekend at Port Townsend that I will be attending. I really enjoy that show as it is fairly close and the and the location is pretty cool (an old Army barracks at Fort Worden).
