In this photograph you can see the damage to the front mud flaps. All in all it could have been worse! It actually was kind of a good thing, now I can in good conscience cut the remnants away and display the front without mudflaps, a more aggressive and tough guy look that I wanted to do.


here I made some barrier walls with modelling clay prior to making the rubber mold.

Nice work, Great recovery on the fenders also, much more aggressive looking with the cut back fenders. What type of RTV do you use?

RTV, (and the off white two part resin) is from a company called Smooth-on

I replaced the left rear mud flap with some custom cut brass, which I then bent up.


Next I painted everything out again with Vallejo Russian green followed by the lighter green on the upper surfaces mainly.
