Nice work. I am waiting for my Friul tracks which I pre ordered from PCM. Still no sight of them. Those Spade Ace ones look nice. Great job.

So here is a shot of the treated tracks after the Blacken It solution. I will be taking a brass or tooth brush to it to get rid of some of the clumpy look some of the oxidization. There will be some pigments and such to make them look more the part, this is just stage one.

The oil wash was a bit stronger than I wanted but in the end it wiped back fairly well. I wanted it to be a pretty dirty look anyways but I think I may approach this a bit more carefully in any forth coming projects.
I ended up adding a few filters after a flat clear coat- I can't remember what's in these pics here but I think the last one is after a Satin coat to even the filters out. More work yet to be done that will hopefully bring this all together better.

Looking good. The paint scheme is starting to look real nice. Those tracks look pretty good. Still waiting for my Friuls which are on pre-order.

Thanks guys- this one is coming close to being finished along with the Little Willie project. Need to add a few little bits and then thar she be. Here is a photo I saw on ebay today- probably one of the other types- not really taken the time to look this over closely.

Picture is dated April 19, 1940 so it was taken 10 days after Germany invaded. Interesting Photo.
