Little Willie ~ Accurate Armour

Work revolving around Early Allied Armoured Vehicles
Tanks played a great role in World War II. Invented by the British in World War I, the tank gradually improved in the inter-war period and also saw rapid changes in the Second World War. At one point a tank seemed to be state-of-the-art, then a year later it was obsolete.

The instructions ask for four separate pieces for the ends but I found three was better on the rear end, but it was a real tight fit. In this pic one side has four on the rear but it was subsequently changed.

Great job James! You should put it on a muddy base.

So I spent more time adding some pigments to the lower chassis and hull as well as the two track assemblies.

Great work on the mud.thumb6 It looks very realistic.

What do you use to fix the pigments to the tank and give it texture?

Damn James, that looks great. Do you ever attend the IPMS Vancouver show? I usually go every year although this past year I did not attend. Just curious.
