I don't know about where you live but here in Washington state you can find a good assortment of brass wire at the ACE Hardware stores. I just go with the two thinnest diameters I can find (don't know the dimensions off the top of my head). As suggested you can also get some at good hobby stores but it might be a bit more expensive. Small hobbiest drill bits can be purchased at hobby stores or on-line from Micro-Marc or similar type shops.

I'll have to look at the local Ace and see what they have. We also have a Lowes, I just never really know where to look for things, I am not much of a hardware person.
I got done with the second kit, the 28cm. Weathered with a Dark Earth and some Mig Pigments. i also moved my photo booth but the lighting isn't as good. I may change back.
Well, I've wrapped this project up with the 32cm rocket carrier finished. Whew, I'm ready for a different tank....oh wait, I have the Tamiya kit to do as well. ;) Then I will have my fill for Renault UE's.
These both turned out real well. Makes me want to get a couple of them done up. I have three Tamiya EU tractors. Perhaps I could do some kit bashes as the Mirage kits can be found very cheap just about everywhere. Something to look into.

Yes, I was at Rochester. It was a really good show, my club had a vendor table and sold some things, there were a lot of aircraft and cars, no so much armor. I got a silver for my Neubaufahrzeug. Of the ten of us we brought home 26 medals. It was fun, only my second show attended.
