Note to Sergio : your question was good and this problem was somewhere in the back of my head, worrying me ... I checked. On the sturmhaubitze Ausf G in Saumur, the gun cleaning rods housing is exactly the same as the one on the StuG Ausf G good for holding four rods ... I too agree with you that four are too many but there you are. I then assume the StuH Ausf F had the same cleaning rods as the regural StuG Ausf G unless someone has the correct answer.

Hi guys.
This is how the bugger looks today. Paint ain't dry yet but I already post some pics. First step of the superstructure weathering. The fenders aren't fixed yet. Next step, undercarriage, wheels and tracks.

Yes I know james. I'll give it a try anyway. The pic I have shows a SPG in a rather good shape, not battered. It should be possible.
