I meant to add that once you spray the underside with dirt colours and pigments etc, this will all be covered up anyways, you are going to do some weathinging and dirtying up aren't you :painter:

FINISHED!...I think. I've done all that I think I can do. Any ideas on improvements or things I can do different next time around?

So here I used artist oil for post shading.

I don't have a huge selection of paints available at home so I used a model masters dark tan thinned down for a dust filter.

And once again, not many pigments to choose from, I used a Mig dry mud. Not sure if this is an accurate representation of Africa weathering. I may have used too much water, there were some spots that remained darker.

Thanks guys. Next time I think I won't do as much chipping as I did this time, as most of it was covered up by my dusting and pigments. On another forum I was given the suggestion of using a metal grey for the base coat and then sponge on the yellow to simulate chipping. He went on to saying in the desert the paint job tended to be more intact than you would find in Europe. I'd like to try that method sometime to see what I can do with it.

Great looking truck David. I like the scheme you used.
