I'm confused about the tools carried on the NbWf ...er...spades?: sometimes I see 2 shovels attached, as in this pic:

Other carries 2 long bars, as here (attached to the sides:

How is the thing? There is "early" and "late" type or what?

I found this image in Allied-Axis 14 book; it seems the NbWf 41 carries 2 shovels, a "Richlatte" (aiming bar?) and a "Aufbock-und Lenkstange" (Jacking and handlebars?) but not always carries all the elements
