Japanese Type 95 Ha Go

While not as extensive as other countries there was a fair amount of vehicle development from the Japanese Axis.

I have to announce that this build is over - I tried to get the residual liquid mask off with this product called Goof-Off, and it's pretty much corrosive to plastic. On the plus side, the turret is still useable as a diorama accessory (should that opportunity arise) and I have a number of scratchbuilt parts and pre-built sub-assemblies from this model that when I get another Type 95 its build will go quicker.

Yes I,ve seen that Goof off stuff around in my line of work, set painting, although more in the real world house paint scene, but I would never use it cause it's worse than lacquer thinner, being xylene or something. too bad about the accident, perhaps next time use thinned down paint applied by hand over several sessions.

cry I hate to hear that kind of thing. wallbash

Maybe there's a reaction between the putty and the Goo-Off? I've used it to clean plastics, though not styrene that I recall.

Edit: I didn't see Jamie's post. A word to the wise, eh?
