The building stage is coming to the end, except for details on the wheels and the indicators of distance and .....I'll see what else.

I'm trying as will the equipment; I added some canvas made with epoxi putty , others with tin foil, plus some resin bags, jerrycans and the basin where they prepared the mud to camouflage

I find the antenna position too advanced, but the turret brackets are glued and reinforced with cyano, so ... I feel bad for peeled off without breaking something

The soldier in the turret is there just for the pic, I still don't know what figure I will use. There are few things stuck, most of the accessories, weapons, doors, etc. are only blue-tacked for the photos

And the aplication to the poor subjects of my experiment

Now is when I have to study where the mud must be peeled off or added; then a coat of Humbrol matt Cote and some light washes.

Any idea?

Darío,

If I remember correctly the Panzer Colors book Vol 1 shows a sd.kfz 232, in the desert, having mud applied like this.

I don't know if you have already seen this but there is a photo of a 232 like yours, plus some others that might be of help to you here http://www.axishistory.com/index.php?id=5556

Yep, Tim, Pz Colors 1 was my main source for this project; thanks!

Here some pics of some vehicles with mud added as camouflage:

PICTURES FOR DISSCUSION ONLY

In this 263, one of the crew seems to have an sponge or cloth and other crew use...his hand to spread the mud ?
