Ya I could have weeded that one out but left it in cause I was lazy- I think it relates to a Flakpanzer I - I'll try and post those later?

Maybe so-or maybe not. I wonder if tank units might have brought their "school tanks" with them when they deployed?

Okay so while I wait to hear if the painting is okay I spent some time on this project. I am trying to get the fenders done so I can get them painted and attached. First was getting the jack mounting parts together, as previously seen, and next the small pry bar set up on the front right fender.


This still needs the front stopper part to go on


Next I will be building the PE jack that is included in the older Panzer I PE set from ABER. This is a cool little detail, it actually can go up and down, great for dioramas. I think it maybe more of an authentic look than the plastic one.
But first some shots showing some work done on the rear mud flaps. These were bent up and given the look as though some real rookies were at the wheel and well, probably earned some demerit points on there training log book.

Some of the major bits trimmed out. The bending of this is going to be a bit tricky.
























Here I've used some solder as filler on some depressions I caused during the construction.

Well, you made that jack look easy. How did you get the nice easy curve on it?
Looks like the NCO's well have the recruits banging on the rear fenders to straigtenen them out!
