Laquer based paints

Postby Jamie Tainton » Mon Aug 31, 2009 3:09 pm

Hi- just thought I'd share some shots of some new paint I'm going to try out. Why laquer based you may ask. Well I like to use oil based washes and since laquer and oil are different solvent- I'm hoping that these paints will do the trick, that is give me the base colours I want and then provide a safe surface on which to apply oil based washes etc. I don't care for water based paints myself so that's why I don't go that route. I don't like the way Vallejo paints almost stop going though the tip of my Pasche airbrush fairly soon after beginning due to a build up on the tip of the needle.
anyways here's some pics
