3d printing the beginning of the end of scratch building?

I think this technology will have a big impact on modelling, now and in the future as it continues to develop.

I hope to make some parts using 3d printing for my Panther and kitchen builds in the future.

I see the printers are beginning to come down in price as well. Another 5-10 yrs or so before it becomes more widespread.
