I just don't get it?

I am at a loss to understand why I keep getting registration applications from potential members that do not meet the basic requirement of a first and last name for the User name. I think it says it pretty clear in the agreement that is at the beginning of the registration form or in this thread for example.

Please if you are serious about a membership here you need to apply with a first and last name. I would prefer the proper capital letter at the beginning of each name. Like James Tainton for example. Not, JTainton, or jtainton, james_tainton, etc. but James Tainton.
