Radiator doors

Greetings to the forum, this is my first post. I do sheetmetal sculptures/impressions of motorcycles and cars. The first one I did was of a 1914 Rolls Royce armored car, all I had to go by were old faded photos from the teens and twenties, I got a lot of things wrong, now a couple years later there are a couple kits and more photos to use as reference material.

The one detail I can't find is the linkage from the dash to the armored doors in front of the radiator, I can see the linkage from the doors to the plate above the radaitor but not what's behind the plate.
