Dragon's 1/72 Type 2 "Ka Mi"

Well here is Dragon's latest 1/72 "Braille Scale" Armor kit. It is a Japanese Type 2 "Ka Mi" Amphibious Tank. The kit is very simple with just 1 sprue (A) a lower and upper hull, a turret shell and packaged together the tracks, decals and a small P.E. fret with the exhaust screen.

I already started by first painting the inside portions of the road wheels, sprocket and idlers "Gunship Grey", this is to ensure paint coverage in those hard to reach areas. I also put together the hull and turret. Now I will need to paint the rubber sections of the road wheels and paint the lower hull. Once that is dry I will put everything together. Will post some more pictures tomorrow if all goes well. Sorry about the brightness of the pictures. I really didn't notice it until I posted them here. Will make sure the next batch of photos are better.

Nice Braille-scale project Roy.

Hats off to you. I barely have the steadiness of hand to handle 1/35 scale, much less details twice as small!

BTW, are there options for various camo schemes, or were they all a one-colour paint job?

(Or perhaps the question should be, "Navy or Army Camo?" )
