British Armoured Car Pattern 1920 Mk.I ~ Roden

Since I seem to be grounded in the beginning of things right now I thought this woud make a nice counter point to all the German stuff being built.
It is a British Armoured Car Pattern 1920 Mk. I from Roden.

I like how the vehicle is sitting across the road on the box art-much different than what one normally sees.
Are there replacements for the tires?

Nice to see a British model.

I've just got the Tamiya/Italeri Staghound armoured car (a bargain on Ebay), to add to this section at some point.

Maybe I'll get the new Tasca Sherman Firefly, once I've worked my way through all my other kits.

Funny, I picked this up earlier this year as well. I was hoping Resicast would see the opportunity and put the spoked wheels from their Rolls kit out as an aftermarket item. As the kit stands, I have a mind to do mine as an Irish vehicle.

Here are some pics that I should have posted by now, showing the initial stages of construction. I have come across a few short shot flaws in some of the parts for this kit, one being on 25E, which is affect on either end where the bits aren't long enough to fit into the engine block. I could have repaired this but as the engine will not be seen in the final presentation I have not bothered. The engine will perhaps be better showcased with the Resin version I have now from Resicast http://www.resicast.com/
