I use and would recommend Humbrol Metalcote Gunmetal. This paint dries matt black, but when you polish it with a soft cloth a very nice metallic finish is revealed.

The guns are painted? I though they was replaced by white metal ones
The Jeep looks very good, David; what are those 2 small boxes on the rear plate? They looks like Italeri's Pz IV jack wood blocks, but upside down

So I skipped taking pictures of many of my weathering steps, I've been sick and just haven't had the time but I've managed to get much further along.

Dave, this jeep turned out pretty well but I would suggest that the stowage be redone to make it appear as if it is attached to something rather then look like it is just glued to the side of the jeep. Maybe a little more fine dust through out also (highly thinned Tamiya Buff is good for this). Other than that it looks great.
