Alan,
Are all FlaK guns from the Luftwaffe? I do beleive that some are from the Army and of course would follow the Army's guide lines.
I really enjoy these types of discussions (the same for US Army OD) and seeing photos of equipment that are srill in the original paint.

I just picked up my half started tasca kit and am wondering what paint people would recommend to get that dark look?
Could one darken up tamiya's panzer gray using their black or dark gray?

I used Xtracolor panzer dark gray in the past but I will be switching over to mr color lacquers as my stock of Xtracolor goes away

I very glad to see this discussion. Many years ago I was shouted down for using Humbrol panzer gray. I love the almost black color is dries to but was told it was too dark. I think the darker the grey the better it looks under light colored washes and normal weathering. Sorry, no photos, those kits were destroyed through many moves over many years.
