Radio Gear insidePanzerjäger Sd.Kfz. 164 Nashorn

I am trying to determine what and where, most of the Radio gear inside the Nashorn was used. Interior pictures of the Radio operators compartment seem to be non existing (I found one interior shot of the RO Bay in a Hummel on Mike Kendall's "AFV Interiors" site that shows some of the radio racks mounted to the ceiling).
I have extensively researched the radiogear thru various websites but there are still many questions.

Nuts & Bolts 14 referenced a Dienstvorschrift "D9020/45 Das Funkgerät in der PAK43 (Sf) Hornisse, 01.03.1944" which would hopefully answer some of my questions.
Up to know I was unable to find out where I can obtain/purchase a copy of this manual.
Question 1: Is there maybe someone on the forum who has access to the manual or can direct me in the right direction where to purchase it? (NARA ?)

Understand that the early vehicles had Funksprechgerät "f" mit Bordsprechanlage 23 or 23a but that this was upgraded to Fu5 in 1944.
For a command vehicle I figured out that the Fu5 (10W.S.c and UKW.E.e) was located in the RO side of the forward compartment (in Rack above SSG77 Transmission? ) with its Umformer (U10a and EUa) which were powered thru Sicherungskasten Nr. Z23 and Batterie Hauptschalter from the Vehicle Batteries. Connection to the antenna was with Antennenzuleitung "f" and Kasten Pz. Nr. 2a & 2b. Not sure if Command vehicle had an additional UKW.E.e (Fu2) added to this, which would explain the second Antenna which is seen on some photos on the right centre superstructure wall of the fighting Compartment (looks like this antenna was connected thru Abschlusskasten Kasten Pz.2a? and wiring which feeds back into RO compartment)
Question 2: Does anyone has or knows about picture which shows the interior of the Radio Operator side of the forward compartment.
Question 3: Does anyone know where main battery switch or batteries were located in the Hummel/Nashorn?

The Geschutzwagen III/IV was a hybrid between Panzer III and IV, It looks to me forward compartment was more based on PzIII layout but don't know if this was also for the Radio Layout. I am familiar with both PzIII and IV layout of the RO side but hope to find some more info instead of assuming it leands more towards the PzIII.
Question 4: Does anyone know if the Bordsprechanlage 23/23a was being replaced with Bordsprechanlage with Kasten Pz. Nr.20 (as PzIII or IV suitable for connection of two receivers) or Kasten Pz.Nr.24 (as was used in STUG's with connection to 1 Receiver) after the upgrade from funksprechgerat "f" too Fu05?

There were 4 Intercom station were crew members could plug in their Mics/Headsets which would have been connected to Bordsprechanlage. From Fotos it looks that the 2 intercom boxes in the fighting compartment were Kasten Panzer Nr. 25 for the gunner (feedtru box against centre left superstructure wall) and Kasten Pz.Nr.21b for the kommandant (located in rear left corner of fighting compartment). Photos reveal that wiring from these boxes are routed thru engine compartment to bordsprechanlage ?? in forward compartment.
No photographic evidence of the two intercom stations fot the driver and radiooperator.
I assume RO was connected directly into Kasten Pz. Nr. 20, 23 or 24? and that the driver was connected to the bordsprechanlage via a Kasten Pz. Nr. 22a.
Question 5: Has anyone some information on these connection or corrections on my gueswork?

For the Befehlsjager(Command Vehicle, as per KstN 1148b there was 1 vehicle/company and 2 vehicles of the staffcompany issued with Fu5 plus Fu8)
Fu8 was installed in Rear left corner of the fighting compartment. Don't know if this gear was operated by an additional RO or by the Loader?
Looking at the schematics of the STUG the FU8 was not connected to the Bordsprechanlage but an individual set with its own Star antenna D above the rack.
Receiver on Top, followed by Transmitter with both transformer on the bottom.
Question 6: Does anyone has any correction or additional info on this.

Hi John, that's pretty specific specialist kinda info that I personally can't answer off the top of my head. I will, if and when I get the chance in the next few days, dig into my references and see if I can come up with anything for you. Did a 13 hour day yesterday on Apollo 18 and not much time afterwards for much else but to watch a movie and get some sleep as I have to go into the shop again today to paint a fridge for it. ;B;

Had a try with the positioning of the Fu5 rack in the forward Compartment.
This could fit here as it was fitted in some Pz IV designs.
Here is my first try fit on Paper

Still Hope to find some more info re the Radio operator Bay.

Looks good John, but I wonder why when most of the interior is not visible why you are spending so much time with the interior? :panzer1:
