AFV Club 251 Ausf.D / 22 Pakwagen

Hello everyone.
I will try to contribute to the forum, even though my builds won't be as cool as Jamie's :)

I plan to do it OOB and add some PE later, however I haven't chosen which one to order as there no specific kits for Pakwagen and may be I will stick to PE fenders only. I am also thinking of ordering tracks from AFV or Dragon because included vynils are hard to make sag.

Kit has PE shield for gun and alluminium barrel.

I spend last 2 evenings with this model and here is what I got step-by-step (please write if you want bigger images). the build is quite straight forward and parts are nicely done apart from gun sprues - more sanding required there.

I substituted 2 plastic rods with brass because they were quite thin and fragile.

Gun shild from PE. I marked with red where AFV forgot to make wholes (marks) mentioned in the instructions.

Lower hull\running gear. Requires a lot of putty here and the floor is 1,5 shorter than it should be ( I will try to fix that with another floor part included in the kit from previous modification)

I would be grateful if somebody has winter pictures of the vehicle - want to make it in camouflage and white wash on top.
