They are not alone in this dept although they are the biggest perpetrators. I was working on a Tamiya kit yesterday and noticed two parts that just appear to be already put into place but no mention of when or how they got there. It was easy to figure out though so no biggy.

Those shells look cool, what treatment did you do. Also I see the sights are a green colour, what reference is that from, interesting. I usually just paint mine black.

James i'm not sure which green I used for the shells but I think it was Vallejo tank green and Alclad II dark aluminum for the fuse and Alclad copper for the rings.
I don't have any references for sight colors so I used interior green which is pretty bright and needs toning down to make it darker. I felt the gun needed a splash of color amid all that dark yellow.
