Since it was time to get back to work on the Brummbar I started with getting the tracks assembled.

Well I didn't get the road wheels paint because I ran into this mold misalignment so I used Jamies remedy of chucking them up in the old Moto tool and running a 150 grit sanding stick over them till the stair step was gone. I had to take off so much material that I got down to the top edge of the side wall lettering but I can live with that.

I know it's been awhile but not forgotten. The weathering is underway slowly but surely.

I've got the CH white box Early and the DML Late to go with it one of these days.

Very nice so far. I'm suprised that the wheels were so bad. Not a usual occurance for a newer mold Dragon kit. Still, you got through it and now the kit looks great.

Thanks Juan. thumb6 Sometimes when I open a new kit and see what's inside it can be over whelming. If it's a machine you've just got to have all you can do is dig in your heels and make up your mind to do it.

Roy I hear you, i've been working on this newer DML model and the road wheels are just about as out of alignment as the Brummbar, sloppy mold setup or worn out mold???

Looking good Tony.

Shame about the wheels, it's not something that you expect from the current gen kits.

Probably a worn out mold. They use these same wheel sprues on alot of different kits. Maybe an e-mail to Tom Cockle might help in letting Dragon know this is becoming a problem.
