Here is a few pics of what you get in the box , three main sprues, two of which are duplicate, the decals some PE and a whole lot of frets that have the track parts. Too bad HobbyBoss doesn't follow DML lead and have "Magic Tracks", as this will be a bit of a chore to get to the single track parts. cry

Well I have been concentrating on the 221 so I have not been able to update this thread till now.
The kits molding and detail is actually pretty sharp, although a cursory measuring and comparison to Doyles drawing the Panzer Tracts title about Panzer I's shows there are some issues with some of the accuracy of everything. Rumoured to be mearly a copy from an older kit from a resin kit maker, it still is one of the only versions of this kit out there and with some work perhaps the kit could be brought up to a better standard. This build will be mostly straight from the box.
In any case I'm not going to comment too much with this update, to much time spent doing this type of thing today so just some pics to show where its at.

The fit must be good as you seem to have the big parts together with no problems.
This was only a training tank?

Yes the engineering is pretty good but like I say there seems to be some issues with the dimensions. I am adding some weld beads too.

The ones in Panzer Tracts. The funny thing when I took some cursory measurements of the line drawing and then converted to 1:1 the numbers did not meet exactly the textual numeric data on the specs page on the vehicle in the same publication, perhaps an indication that drawings can be a bit off in any case?
When I find some time, maybe on Saturday I will take some exact measurements and post my findings. thumb6
